The first important thing is to identify the paint. There are three types of paint is available in the market.

Latex Paint.

Latex is a water-based paint. People use this type of paint when they want to paint a whole lot of areas. Since latex is water-based paint, it's easy to clean this paint from carpet.

First, pick up the paint and start removing the paint from the surface.

After that mix 1/4th of the dish cleaner in warm water and spray on the scrub and lightly scrub it using a brush. Repeat the process until the paint is gone.

Acrylic Paint.

Acrylic paint is a chemical-based paint.  Most of the time this paint is used to make arts and projects because it is durable. Since this a chemical-based, this is water-resistant and more elastic.

You need to scrape it off from the surface with a utility knife or you can use the nose polar to operate the paint for the carpet.

After that clean the surface with a carpet cleaner or thinner. Clean it until it comes off from the surface.

Oil Paint.

Oil paint is less used in the house. Because it dries longer, the chemical is harmful and color most likely to fade away in a short time. This is usually used in the painting or to give final touches on house.

The procedure is very similar to the acrylic paint. If the stains remain then use isopropyl alcohol on the surface and leave it for the 30 mint after that take a cloth and wipe the paint off from carpet.
